KENNEWICK — Police in Kennewick, said a 22-year-old Walla Walla woman abducted from a grocery store parking lot has been found safe at a Kennewick hotel.
Sgt. Ken Lattin said Samantha Noethe was found Friday with her husband, Paul Gross, who was described by police as a suspect in the Thursday morning abduction. Police say assistance from friends and relatives helped locate the woman.
The Tri-City Herald reported that Gross was arrested for investigation of domestic violence unlawful imprisonment and domestic violence assault.
Lattin says Noethe suffered cuts and bruises from crashing her car during the abduction. She was forced from her car after being boxed in by drivers in other cars. Then she was driven away. Police say they don’t know the motive for the abduction but Lattin says “she definitely didn’t go willingly.”
