Meet the new Marysville Tulalip chamber CEO
The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce and Regional Visitor Information Center named Jesica Stickles as its new president/CEO. Stickles is an Arlington City Councilwoman who served for many years with the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband have owned and operated a printing business for the past 10 years. A casual meet and greet is planned for her from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the chamber office at 8825 34th Ave. NE, Suite C, Tulalip.
Edmonds to hold on open house on development rules
An open house to kick off a major update of the Edmonds development code, will be held between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Edmonds City Hall’s council chambers. The public is invited. A short oral presentation will be given at 6 p.m. People can also submit written comments at the event.
Economic Alliance holds speaker series in Everett
Economic Alliance Snohomish County launches the first of a new speaker series from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Garden Court Retirement Community in Everett. Foggy Noggin celebrating fifth anniversary
Foggy Noggin Brewing is celebrating their fifth anniversary this month. A vertical tasting of all five years of the company’s anniversary ales will take place 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and March 20 at Foggy Noggin at 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Only a few spots are available. Foggy Noggin will celebrate its anniversary on March 21 releasing its 2015 anniversary beer and other rare beers.
Redfin holds free class on mortgages

Financing approved for Lynnwood apartments
Washington State Housing Finance Commission approved financing for the Scriber Creek Apartments near Lynnwood. The complex will create 276 units for families earning up to 60 percent of area median income, while protecting nearby wetlands that buffer Scriber Creek. A private developer, DevCo, will incorporate units set aside for people with disabilities or large households.
