Business mixer planned at the Everett waterfront

Everett Afternoon, Port Gardner, Lake Stevens and Northshore LeTip groups are hosting a business mixer at 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 31 at Lombardis on the Everett Waterfront, 1620 West Marine View Drive. Snohomish County Tomorrow elects new officers

Snohomish County Tomorrow, a growth management advisory council, elected new officers at its Feb. 25 meeting. Lake Stevens Mayor Vern Little and County Councilman Brian Sullivan were elected co-chairs, and Snohomish Mayor Karen Guzak and County Councilwoman Stephanie Wright will share vice-chair responsibilities. The new terms started immediately and will last for one year.

Edmonds construction company wins Houzz award

Chermak Construction of Edmonds has been awarded Best of Houzz for Design by Houzz, a leading platform for home remodeling and design. Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 25 million monthly users on Houzz. Winners will receive a Best of Houzz 2015 badge on their profile.

Free business workshop planned in Sultan

Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick plans to host a free business workshop on social marketing. Attend this free workshop to learn how to better market your business using the internet. Barista class offered in Marysville

Marysville Parks and Recreation is offering a barista training class. Participants will make lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, Americanos and iced drinks. Light lunch is included. Nominations sought for Leadership Snohomish County

Leadership Snohomish County is now accepting nominations and applications for 2015-16 programs. The Signature program will accept 32 class members and the Young Professionals program will accept 20. Nomination and application forms are available at www.leadershipsc.org/apply. Nominations must be received by April 30.
