SAMMAMISH — Hannah Graves’ five goals were not enough as Snohomish fell 16–8 to Eastside Catholic in a girls lacrosse match on Friday.
Snohomish fell behind early, slipping to an 8–3 deficit by the half, before giving up eight more goals down the stretch.
Helen Bouchard, Avery Ohsman and Natalie Church also recorded goals and goaltender Daryia Tagg was strong in the net with 12 saves for the combined Snohomish and Emerald Ridge High School program.
Eastside Catholic’s (2-0) Ashley Blanton put up five goals and tallied five ground balls and Olivia Jacobsen netted four goals and an assist in the Crusaders’ win.
Snohomish (1-1) next faces Ballard at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Glacier Peak High School.
