Benefit concert for the Oso Fire Department: 1 p.m. March 21 at the Rhodes River Ranch, 2016 Entsminger Road, Oso. The concert will feature the Mosaic Arts Northwest Choir and Orchestra. Mosaic is a performing arts group of more than 100 musicians from throughout the region. Several local bands are set to play as well. Victims of the Oso mudslide will be remembered, and firemen and first responders will be honored.

Tea and Trumpets: A concert by well-known trumpet player George Steward doubles as a fundraiser for Old Dog Haven and Save a Mutt. The event is March 21, with tea and lunch served from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. and the recital program at 3 p.m. at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 84th St. SW. Steward, who is principal trumpet for Cascade Symphony and Everett Philharmonic, will be joined by trumpeter Dan Schmidt, pianist Rob Coe, organist Beth Fuhriman and narrator Janet Coe. Composers to be played include Hovhaness, Enesco, Bernstein, Vivaldi and Bach, as well as a lively piece titled “Animal Ditties.” Admission is by donation to the animal charities in honor of Mim Loree, who turned 93 on St. Patrick’s Day. Northwest Boychoir: The choir, now in its 40th year, presents Maurice Durufle’s Requiem No. 9 and W.A. Mozart’s “Missa Brevis” in F Major and Randall Thompson’s “Place of the Blest” in concert at 7:30 p.m. March 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Hot Java, Cool Jazz: The 20th annual Starbucks-sponsored high school jazz concert at the Paramount is 7 p.m. March 20, at the theater, 911 Pine St., Seattle. The concert is a fundraiser for the participating jazz bands, which include the groups from Mountlake Terrace High School and Edmonds-Woodway High School. Tickets are $20.

The Banner Days: Bradford Loomis of Marysville and Beth Whitney of Snohomish will perform at 8 p.m. March 20 at the Red Curtain Arts Center, 1410 Grove St., Marysville. Call 360-322-7402 for tickets, $20. The Banner Days plays folk, roots and Americana. Also on the bill is charismatic blues man Reggie Miles, a Hootenanny audience favorite and master of the bottleneck blues, captivating storyteller and saw player extraordinaire.

Moonlight Swing Orchestra: Stanwood Area Historical Society presents this big band playing for a dance fundraiser, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 21 at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center, 27130 102nd Ave. NW, Stanwood. Tickets are $35 a couple at the door. Hors d’oeuvres served. Beer and wine for purchase.

Monroe Concert Band: A free, family friendly concert featuring the music of Anderson, Brubeck and Ticheli, with solo works by Nestico, Vivaldi and von Weber will be performed at 2 p.m. March 22 at the Wagner Performing Arts Center, 639 W. Main St., Monroe. Donations accepted.

Marysville City Bands: Benefit concert for the Red Curtain Arts Center, 7 p.m. March 27, 1410 Grove St. Admission is $10, with proceeds going to support the arts center. Call 360-322-7402.

Everett Philharmonic Orchestra Gala Fundraising Event: 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 28, Everett Events Center Ballroom, 2000 Hewitt Ave. Lisa Bergman of KING-FM is mistress of ceremonies. The program includes music from The Curators, as well as overtures, waltzes and polkas from Johann Strauss’ romantic collection from the orchestra. Included is an auction, a gourmet dinner and live music for dancing. Tickets, which go up in price on Monday, are available online at www.everettphil.org. Or call 206-270-9729.

Pearl Django: The region’s best gypsy jazz orchestra plays from 7 to 9 p.m. March 28 at Under The Red Umbrella, 1502 Rucker Ave., Everett.

Hymns for the Christian life: Keith and Kristyn Getty will perform 7 p.m. March 28 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 E. College Way, Mount Vernon. The Gettys will sing modern hymns like “In Christ Alone” and “The Power of the Cross.” Tickets are $28 and can be purchased on brownpapertickets.com.
