“Noises Off”: Historic Everett Theatre’s resident community theater group, the Outcast Players, present Michael Frayn’s comedy farce through March 29 at the theater, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. In Act I, a second-rate company of British actors is rehearsing a touring production of a terrible sex farce. Act II reveals the backstage chaos that takes place during a performance, and Act III follows the on-stage performance during which everything goes wrong.
“Around the World in 80 Days”: Village Theatre’s production of Mark Brown’s adaptation of the Jules Verne novel plays through March 29 at the Everett Performing Arts Center. “Farce of Nature”: Everett’s Reunion Theatre Group presents the comedy April 17 through 19, 24 through 26 and May 1 through 3 at the Music Hall Playhouse behind Macy’s at the Everett Mall. Island Shakespeare Festival: Bard and Brew, a free and informal evening of Shakespeare involving performing actors is 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 29 at the Cash Store in Bayview. Koresh Dance Company: Renowned for their high-energy style, the company performs at 7:30 p.m. April 1 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Founded in 1991 by Israeli choreographer Roni Koresh, the Philadelphia-based company’s blend of ballet, modern and jazz is highly technical and emotionally charged. “Swan Lake”: Pacific Northwest Ballet’s version of the classic ballet, scored by Tchaikovsky and choreographed by PNB founder Kent Stowell, returns to the McCaw Hall stage April 10-19.
