“Noises Off”: Historic Everett Theatre’s resident community theater group, the Outcast Players, present Michael Frayn’s comedy farce through March 29 at the theater, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. The cast includes Curt Shriner, Laura Shriner (who also directs), George Sayah, Ric Calhoun, Cheryl Calhoun, Laurie Miller, Jim Quatier, Tom Guerre and Maureen Hammer. For tickets, call 425-258-6766. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays (senior night, two tickets for the price of one), 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays. In Act I, a second-rate company of British actors is rehearsing a touring production of a terrible sex farce. Act II reveals the backstage chaos that takes place during a performance, and Act III follows the on-stage performance during which everything goes wrong.

“Around the World in 80 Days”: Village Theatre’s production of Mark Brown’s adaptation of the Jules Verne novel plays through March 29 at the Everett Performing Arts Center. Tickets, $30 to $62, are available by calling 425-257-8600. Join Phileas Fogg on his whistle-stop journey and wildly wacky adventure to satisfy a wager and circumnavigate the world in 80 days. Bandits, a damsel in distress and transportation problems lurk around every corner.

“Farce of Nature”: Everett’s Reunion Theatre Group presents the comedy April 17 through 19, 24 through 26 and May 1 through 3 at the Music Hall Playhouse behind Macy’s at the Everett Mall. Island Shakespeare Festival: Bard and Brew, a free and informal evening of Shakespeare involving performing actors is 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 29 at the Cash Store in Bayview. Doors open at 6 p.m. A hat will be passed. In addition, the renowned Shakespeare scholar Michael Dobson is set to speak at 7:30 p.m. March 30 at Langley United Methodist Church. Olympic Ballet Theatre’s Spring Program: The company’s performances of classical and contemporary repertoire are 2 and 7 p.m. March 28 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Ticket, $22.50 to $32.50, are available at www.olympicballet.com or by calling 425-774-7570.

Koresh Dance Company: Renowned for their high-energy style, the company performs at 7:30 p.m. April 1 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Founded in 1991 by Israeli choreographer Roni Koresh, the Philadelphia-based company’s blend of ballet, modern and jazz is highly technical and emotionally charged. Tickets are $34, $29, $24 and $15 for students. Call 425-275-9595.

“Swan Lake”: Pacific Northwest Ballet’s version of the classic ballet, scored by Tchaikovsky and choreographed by PNB founder Kent Stowell, returns to the McCaw Hall stage April 10-19. Tickets start at $30. For more information, call the PNB box office at 206-441-2424. Swan Lake presents the ultimate challenge for ballerinas, the dual role of Odette, trapped in the body of a white swan until the oath of her true love sets her free, and Odile, the “Black Swan” temptress.
