Flashlight Egg Hunt: Mill Creek Parks &Recreation and community event for grades 6 to 12, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 27, Heatherwood Middle School gym, 1419 Trillium Blvd., Mill Creek. Lots of hidden prizes in the eggs and tons of candy. Participants must bring a parent-signed waiver, available at City Hall, website www.cityofmillcreek.com or pick up at the event. Snohomish Easter Parade: 11 a.m. April 4, Downtown Snohomish. Easter bonnet contest and photos with the Easter Bunny. Easter Egg hunt at 9 a.m. at Faith Assembly Church, 1220 22nd Street, Snohomish.

Artapalooza!: Whidbey Children’s Theater annual fundraiser, 2 to 5 p.m. April 25, Fireseed Catering, 6051 Coles Road, Langley. Don your best springtime vintage apparel and attend a Garden Party with tea, treats, lawn games, artist booths, youth performances and the reveal of the 2015-2016 Whidbey Children’s Theater Season. International Children’s Friendship Festival: 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., April 11 and 12, Fisher Pavilion and South Fountain Lawn. Children honor their cultures through performance, education and a commitment to international peace and friendship. Exhibits by local ethnic communities, crafts, face painting and an international playground featuring games and activities from around the world. Summer Arts Enrichment Camps: Students work directly with professional artists, Edmonds Center for the Arts. One-week camps meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Seattle Shakespeare Company’s “Shakespeare As You Like It: Combat, Improv, &Acting,” July 6 through 10, ages 11 to 15. Book-It Repertory Theatre’s “Investigate, Adapt, Act!”, July 13 through 17, ages 7 to 11. Folklorico Dance Camp, July 27 through 31, ages 7 to 11. Star Wars and The Power of Costume: A behind-the-scenes look at some of the most iconic costumes in film history.
