LONGVIEW — A Vancouver man has pleaded guilty to stalking charges in Cowlitz County Superior Court.
The Columbian reported that Eric David Platt entered his pleas on Thursday to felony stalking, harassment and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
Platt was arrested in 2014 after a Woodland family reported that he was on their property with a video camera outside their older daughter’s bedroom window. The father told deputies that Platt made threats about talking the family’s two daughters. The father says Platt fired a gun several times after leaving the property.
The family told police that Platt became obsessed with the daughters when the family lived with him in Vancouver. After they moved, Platt continued to contact them.
Sentencing is set for April 14.
