SAMMAMISH — All-American Suzy Emerson scored four goals as Issaquah continued its tear through the Washington state girls lacrosse season with a decisive 14-2 win over Snohomish Friday at the Skyline Community Field in Sammamish.
Issaquah improved to 7-0 this season.
Snohomish (4-1 league, 4-2 overall), which lost for just the second time this season, quickly fell behind the undefeated defending state champions, trailing 10–2 at halftime.
Hannah Graves scored both goals for Snohomish, and Jordyn Vaughn led the defensive effort with eight ground balls.
For Issaquah, Emerson, a senior midfielder who also has two All-State awards to her credit, finished the night with five points, including an assist along with five ground balls and four draw controls. She was one of six Issaquah players to score in the contest.
