New sub shop opens in Everett
Jersey Mike’s Subs opened a new location in mid March at 4817 Evergreen Way in Everett. It’s the third shop for the franchise in Snohomish County. The New Jersey-based company plans to open 220 new stores this year, bringing its total to more than 1,000.

Revenue to hold tax workshop in Seattle
The Washington State Department of Revenue is hosting a free tax workshop for new and small business owners from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in Seattle. Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection, and record-keeping requirements.
