The judging of the bonnet contest comes after the parade at the Carnegie building, at the corner of First Street and Cedar Avenue. That’s also where people can get on the bonnet float. Parents can ride with their children or pick them up after the parade at First Street and Avenue E.
A free Easter bonnet-making class is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday at Bee Bops and Lollipops, 1112 First St. People should bring a hat. Decorations will be provided. To register, visit BeeBopsandLollipops.com or call 360-568-2333.
