The transit agencies that participate in the ORCA smart card fare system — including Community Transit, Everett Transit and Sound Transit — are propose a new Regional Day Pass program, geared primarily at tourists. Public input is requested.
The new Regional Day Pass would include an $8 option for adult riders valid for unlimited rides on services with fares up to $3.50, as well as a $4.50 reduced-fare permit for seniors and riders with disabilities.
The new pass will be accepted on bus, light rail, commuter rail, streetcar and foot ferry services operated by Community Transit, Everett Transit, King County Metro, Kitsap Transit, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit. As with the current ORCA PugetPass, the ORCA Regional Day Pass will not be valid for fare payment on Washington State Ferries service.
