EVERETT — Erin Gordon pitched 6 2/3 innings of four-hit relief and went 4-for-4 with a triple and four RBI at the plate to lead the Seagulls to a Wesco 3A North victory over the Eagles on Tuesday at Lincoln Field.
Gordon replaced Sydney Taggart with one out in the first inning after Taggart experienced elbow discomfort, according to Everett coach Mike Millar.
Taggart stayed in the game on offense, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored.
Gordon struck out six and walked two, allowing three runs in the seventh inning on Arlington home runs by Jennifer Kellogg and Samantha MacIntosh.
