STANWOOD — It was a slugfest Tuesday night as Stanwood blasted Shorecrest in a non-conference game with a combined 17 runs and 22 hits.
The star of the game was Stanwood junior Emma London, who led the Spartan offense with two doubles and a home run. London also picked up the win after taking over for starter Teagan Miller in the fourth.
Shorecrest’s Ivey Uppinghouse added a three-run home run for the Scots, who were looking to snap a five-game losing streak entering Tuesday’s game.
