ARLINGTON — Police here say they are investigating vandalism discovered early Thursday at Arlington High School.
An alarm was triggered at the school at 1:45 a.m., city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said. Police arrived to see two people attempting to leave in a vehicle. They were trapped by locked gates and ran away instead. A police dog search was unsuccessful.
Damage to the high school was limited to a broken window, while a computer monitor and a railing had been moved, Banfield said.
No description of the suspects was available Thursday.
