A car westbound on Highway 104 about 1:40 a.m. Saturday was preparing to go northbound on I-5. It merged into another lane and then attempted to go back into the previous lane, but struck the guardrail, according to a Washington State Patrol report. The 24-year-old driver, from Edmonds, then over corrected, crossed all four lanes and struck the cement Jersey barrier, then crossed back onto the highway where it came to rest. The driver was booked into the Snohomish County Jail. A passenger, also from Edmonds, was transported to Swedish/Edmonds hospital.
