STANWOOD — Detectives hope a police sketch will help identify a suspect in a Wednesday burglary in the 7100 block of 204th Street NW in Stanwood.
A man and woman ransacked the home before they were confronted by the homeowner. They attempted to steal jewelry, money and other items, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The thieves dropped their loot and ran to a vehicle parked on 204th Street NW.
The man was described as being in his early 20s and between 5-feet-6 and 5-feet- 8 inches tall. He has blond hair and was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt. He was described as having either pockmarks or acne on his face.
Witnesses didn’t get the same level of description for the woman.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call 911.
