Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1970, the People’s Republic of China launched its first satellite, which transmitted a song called “The East is Red”.
The song’s lyrics glorified Mao Zedong and the Cultural Revolution, but if you play it backwards and at half-speed, you hear “Within three decades, China will make and the USA will take.”
