EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy coach Michael Bartley said the Wildcats clinched the Cascade Conference title and earned the second overall seed in the district playoffs with a win over Cedar Park Christian-Bothell on Tuesday.
Sophomore midfielder Matt Williams scored one of his two goals on the night just under two minutes into the match and it was all the Wildcats needed as Ryan Henderson and Trevor Johnson combined for the shutout in goal.
Keaton Weyers, Brady Henderson, Diego Rios, Mitchell Lovell, Ben Adams, and Jensen Crisler contributed the other six scores for Archbishop Murphy.
The Wildcats have not lost a match this season and have tied once in non-league action.
