EVERETT — Junior Alyssa Simons hit a three-run home run in the first inning and struck out eight through three innings on the mound as Snohomish took down Cascade Tuesday in Wesco 4A softball.
The game was called after five innings on account of the 10-run rule.
Sammy Reynolds went 4-for-4 at the plate for the Panthers with three RBI and three runs scored. Snohomish shares first place with Lake Stevens in Wesco 4A with eight conference wins.
