EDMONDS — Edmonds-Woodway capitalized off a seven-run fourth inning to defeat Glacier Peak in a Wesco 3A South softball slugfest Wednesday night.
Mariah Woolery pitched seven innings and led the Edmonds-Woodway bats going 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Taylor Jones went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, Ari Girouard went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, and Ciara Ortiz also tripled for the Warriors.
For Glacier Peak, Emma Bollinger enjoyed a 3-for-4 showing at the plate with a double and two RBI. Nina Kim was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Abby Winkler doubled and scored twice for the Grizzlies in the loss.
