SEATTLE — A dramatic fire has burned three houses in the West Seattle neighborhood, sending up plumes of black smoke visible for miles.
KOMO-TV reports that Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore says all residents escaped the fire that started late Thursday afternoon. He says there have been no reported injuries.
Television footage from the scene showed one flaming building collapsing as firefighters trained water on the structures.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
