Seahawks pick two offensive linemen in the fourth round

The Seahawks addressed one of their more obvious needs with a pair of fourth-round picks, drafting two offensive linemen.

With pick No. 130, Seattle took San Diego State’s Terry Poole, who was a left tackle in college, but who most project as a guard in the NFL. Four picks later, Seattle picked West Virginia guard Mark Glowinski.

Seattle lost starting left guard James Carpenter in free agency this offseason, and traded center Max Unger to the Saints as part of the Jimmy Graham deal. While neither Poole or Glowinski have game experience at center, they help add overall depth to a unit that needs it.

And both players said on conference calls that they have practiced at center and believe they are versatile enough to play multiple positions, so center could still be in the cards for one of them. We’ll get more insight on these picks later from offensive line coach Tom Cable.
