OAK HARBOR — Oak Harbor baseball clinched homefield advantage throughout the Wesco 3A playoffs with a win against Marysville Getchell on Monday night behind Danny Wolfe’s seven strong innings on the mound. Wolfe allowed just one run on five hits.
Oak Harbor’s Robert Herring went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI and senior Brent Mertins, an Edmonds Community College commit, went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI. Kevin Johnson checked in with a hit, two walks, two runs scored, and two stolen bases for the Wildcats.
