Regarding the article, “Snohomish County PUD to be investigated for ethics violations”: This is a mere drop in the bucket compared to the expenditures of the PUD that have recently been discussed, but is anyone else as annoyed as I am at the amount of printed trash that accompanies each PUD bill? They are, as the names implies, a public utility. They have no competition and thus no need to advertise. They push conservation continually, but waste trees and landfill space in all the junk mail. And their “Currents” magazine? Really? Perhaps six people in the county may read it, but I’m sure most issues hit the basket without ever being opened to the first page. Meanwhile our bills continue to rise along with everything else. How about some conservation on their part?
