DUVALL — Freshman utility player Lauren Rich’s three-run homer in the sixth inning lifted Cascade Conference-leading Cedarcrest to a win against Archbishop Murphy on Thursday night.
Junior infielder Hayley Lacher was 2-for-2 at the plate with a home run, double, and two RBI and junior infielder Kayla Blakeslee had a 3-for-4 night with two doubles for the Red Wolves.
Freshman Lauren Rich picked up the victory on the mound with four innings of relief, surrendering two earned runs and striking out eight.
Archbishop Murphy sophomore Alyson Matriotti doubled for the Wildcats.
