MONROE — A body was found late Sunday at Al Borlin Park in Monroe.
Investigators remained on scene Monday afternoon, Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
The level of decomposition made it impossible to quickly determine the person’s age or gender, she said.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to collect the remains and determine the cause and manner of death.
The park was closed for the investigation.
