Tuesday’s highlights on TV include:
“Navy SEALs: Their Untold Story” is a documentary that delves into the history and most riveting missions of the special-ops force that began during World War II, when it played an important role in the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France. Included: Previously unseen footage, home movies and comments from former SEALs. 9 p.m., PBS.
This week’s “don’t miss” is NBC’s three-way crossover. It’s November sweeps, and that means it’s time for some wild TV tricks. Get ready to witness the harmonic convergence of “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” and “Law &Order: SVU.” The shows, all produced by Dick Wolf, will share a story line about a child pornography ring that stretches from Chicago to New York. Can they pull it off? The crossover starts with “Chicago Fire” (10 p.m. Tuesday) and continues with “Law &Order: SVU” (9 p.m. Wednesday) and “Chicago P.D. (10 p.m., Wednesday).
Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep and others join Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood and a host of musical performers paying tribute to veterans in “The Concert for Valor.” 7 p.m., HBO.
The relationships of veterans and their service dogs are explored in “Dogs of War,” a new series. 9 p.m., A&E
