Wanted: Levy opponent
Camano Island Fire and Rescue needs volunteers to help with pro and con statements for the ballot measure regarding an emergency medical services levy renewal.
No volunteers opposed to the measure have come forward, according to a news release.
“The law requires that both pro and con statements be included in the voters’ guide or neither will appear,” Assistant Fire Chief Levon Yengoyan said. “We want to ensure that all voters have access to the correct information and are able to understand both sides of the ballot measure.”
