The Washington State Department of Transportation has ramp and lane closures scheduled in coming days.
Crews are scheduled to clean up a thick line of yellow paint that was accidentally spilled down the middle of the southbound I-5 carpool lane in Everett on Tuesday. It happened when a hose on a striper truck broke during routine work.
The two left lanes of southbound I-5 from 112th Street SW to 128th Street SW will be closed for the cleanup from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday.
The state has also scheduled nighttime ramp closures on Highway 522 near Monroe.
The eastbound off-ramp to 164th Street SE and West Main Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly starting Monday evening and continuing through Friday. A detour will be in place while crews do drainage work.
West Main Street from Fryelands Boulevard to the roundabout at the bottom of the closed ramp also will be shut down. Drivers will have to follow a pilot car through the work zone.
