SELAH — Following a loss to Othello in the 2A state softball tournament quarterfinals earlier in the day, Granite Falls bounced back with a victory against Fife in a loser-out game.
Lauren Harding pitched seven innings of shutout ball, singled, and scored a run for the Tigers in the win.
Junior utility player Emily Fitzgerald led Granite Falls in offense going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, RBI, run scored, and stolen base.
Taylor Arndt drove in two runs and stole a base, Kelsey Bechtholdt singled and stole a base, Dannica West singled, and Mikayla Engstrom singled.
Granite Falls moves on to face Ellensburg in another loser-out game today at 10am.
