GRANITE FALLS — A 41-year-old Snohomish woman was transported by helicopter to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center and was in critical condition following a Saturday morning collision on Highway 92.
The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. at the highway’s intersection with 75th Street NE between Lake Stevens and Granite Falls, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
The woman, who was driving a 2007 Hyundai with her 5-year-old son in a right-rear carseat, collided with a SUV carrying five passengers. It was driven by a 28-year-old man from Granite Falls.
The son of the Snohomish woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, according to the state patrol report. The five passengers in the SUV also were taken to the Everett hospital as a precaution.
