Not everybody can sit poolside and settle into a book this summer.

For those who can’t, there is help in the form of audiobooks, and more specifically Hoopla. The Hoopla digital app, which is available for Sno-Isle library patrons, has over 330,000 audiobook titles for rental on your phone or tablet.

It’s simple: download the app, register for an account (you’ll need to have a library card through Sno-Isle) and start borrowing audiobooks. Users can also borrow or stream movies and music.

Recently Hachette Audio announced that it will start distributing its titles via Hoopla digital. Hachette authors include James Patterson, Malcolm Gladwell, JK Rowling, Lemony Snicket and hundreds of others.

The Hoopla app is available for iOS and Android.
