PULLMAN —Marty Lees is the new baseball coach at Washington State University.
Athletic director Bill Moos made the announcement Wednesday.
Lees replaces the fired Donnie Marbut and is the 15th head coach in program history.
Lees spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Oklahoma State and the previous 11 as an assistant at Oregon State.
In those 14 years, he has coached 10 teams that have reached the NCAA Tournament, including two national champions with Oregon State.
