United Capital opens Lynnwood office
United Capital Financial Advisers, a financial life management firm, announced that six individuals have joined the firm and have opened five new office locations, including Erin Eddins of Lynnwood. Eddins was a part of a team from StanCorp Investment Advisers. This marks the first United Capital location in the Lynnwood area.
Clothes For Kids asks for donations
Non-profit Clothes For Kids is making a year-end appeal to the community for support. In order to be fully stocked for back to school shopping in August, they still need to raise $10,000 this month. Game pub hosts ice cream flavor contest
Around the Table gamer pub in Lynnwood is teaming up with Full Tilt Ice Cream to host an ice cream flavor contest. Flavor suggestions will be accepted the first week of July at the Around the Table’s Flavor Submission Box or by email at mail@attgamepub.com. The eight winning submissions will be featured as ice cream at the store by the middle of July.
Modumetal seccures captial for development
Seattle-headquartered Modumetal is developing a process to extend the life of metallic materials, with initial applications in oil and gas where corrosion is a particular challenge. They have recently secured additional capital to expand their development work. Economic Alliance Snohomish County worked with the company in 2013 to open a facility in Maltby.
