The local author and editor will talk about her latest project, which is one she edited: “Taking Risks: Feminist Activism and Research in the Americas.” Shayne is senior lecturer in interdisciplinary arts and sciences at the University of Washington Bothell and an affiliate associate professor of gender, women and sexuality studies and Latin American and Caribbean studies at the University of Washington in Seattle.
