EVERETT — Three men were shot and a fourth man was being questioned Monday night after an argument resulted in gunfire in an Everett parking lot.
All three of the injured are expected to survive their wounds, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The shots were fired about 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Taco Bell at 7431 Evergreen Way. Witnesses said that two men pulled up in a white Cadillac and got out. Those two began arguing with two other men in the parking lot, Snell said.
The Cadillac’s driver pulled a handgun and “fired numerous rounds,” Snell said.
The man’s passenger and the men who were in the parking lot all were struck by bullets apparently fired by the driver, police believe.
The driver took his wounded passenger to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The two other wounded men were rushed to the same hospital by aid crews.
The driver was detained at the hospital, and no suspects were believed to be at large, Snell said.
There was no word Monday evening on any motive for the shooting. The Cadillac was impounded pending a search warrant.
