MILL CREEK — An 18-year-old man suffered critical injuries Wednesday evening when he was hit by a car while crossing Highway 527 in Mill Creek.
The accident occurred in the 16900 block.
The pedestrian was struck by a car driven by a 16-year-old Mill Creek boy who was headed south on Highway 527.
Darkness, heavy rain and wind were prevalent at time of collision, according to city officials.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the accident, which remains under investigation.
