MILL CREEK — Two men have been arrested for investigation of a December drive-by shooting in Mill Creek.
Someone shot two rounds from a pistol in the early morning of Dec. 13 after an alarm went off at the Mill Creek Lowe’s store in the 2000 block of 132nd Street SE.
Mill Creek police thought they were being shot at and took cover, according to a police report. No one was injured.
A silver Ford F-250 pickup was seen driving from the scene.
The gun believed used in the shooting was recovered from the home of one of the suspects. Results from a Washington State Patrol crime lab analysis indicated a match between the shell casings from the gun and those found at the scene.
The suspects are an Everett man, 35, and a Lake Stevens man, 30. Police later tracked down witnesses who said the pair had been drinking that night.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether they had deliberately targeted police. They were booked into jail for investigation of assault and drive-by shooting.
