Delivery and Frequently Asked Questions

The Herald prides itself in providing convenient, on time home delivery. For information about our delivery service, please contact customersvc@heraldnet.com.

What time should I expect my newspaper?
Your paper should arrive no later than 5:30 a.m. Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. Saturday, 7:30 a.m. Sunday and Holidays. Delivery times to Camano Island, Whidbey Island and Mount Vernon and other various rural areas are one hour later.

What should I do if my newspaper is missed, wet or incomplete?
Customer Service provides redelivery in most areas from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Sundays and Holidays. Please call 425-339-3200.

Can I request porch delivery?
Some geographical areas do provide porch service upon your request. It is important when requesting this option that your carrier have clear, safe access to your porch. To find out if porch service is available in your area, please contact Customer Service.

Can I request a newspaper delivery tube?
Our tubes are designed for roadside delivery. If a box is needed at the roadside your carrier will be asked to install one.

Can I have a newspaper delivered to my mailbox?
Postal regulations do not allow your carrier to deliver the newspaper to your mailbox. Carriers can receive a fine from the postal service. Anyone tampering with a mailbox is in violation of the law.

What if I suspect that my newspaper is being stolen?
Please notify Customer Service immediately. Mention to the Customer Service staff your suspicions. Stealing a newspaper is a misdemeanor, and anyone caught can be prosecuted for theft. We will contact your carrier and request that they make arrangements to avoid theft if possible. An alternate or hidden delivery location may be an option.

If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us at 425-339-3200 or e-mail us at customersvc@heraldnet.com.
