Michael A. Baloga

Army Pvt. Michael A. Baloga, 21, of Everett died July 26, 2007, in Muqdadiyah of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated while he was on a convoy carrying medical supplies. Baloga, a Sequoia High School graduate, joined the military to give his young daughter a better life, his family said. He was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, from Fort Hood.
