Coaching bio

While Gilbertson Jr. -- fair or unfair -- is probably best known as the University of Washington's former head coach, most of his success came as an assistant at two different levels. He was part of the last UW staff to take the Huskies to a Rose Bowl and went to the Super Bowl as a Seahawks assistant in 2005. Gilbertson also served as a head coach at three Division I programs: UW, Cal and Idaho. He is currently serving as receivers coach for the NFL's Seahawks.
