Real smart businessmen
It's not smart business to say we'd rather have no new jobs than to agree to give the company a predictable relationship for ten years...in return for some pretty good wages for relatively unskilled labor. (I mean most people can learn their jobs in short order.)

What Boeing is sick and tired of is the unpredictability of the unions. They have fostered this unpredictability over years and years of regular strikes. That relationship breakdown is just as much the union's fault as the company's.

Nice going guys. Along with the far-left liberals in Olympia who refuse to improve our business climate, you've watched a major economic opportunity...and JOBS for our out-of-work neighbors...go elsewhere.

Now don't you all feel like smart businessmen, except without any business?

lol
It is about time Boeing's move on from Everett. I am so sick of UNIONS, all they do is cause **** today!

When your jobs are gone, have your union pay you till you find a job, enjoy life dumb asses..

Good job union
Great job Union. Play it tough when everyone could see the writing on the wall except seemingly you all. They told you about S. Carolina and still your wouldn't concede. A job in the hand is worth more than almost anything these days. The worst part is you screwed the rest of us right along with you. Time to move out of Everett.

Funny aint it!!
Last minute jockying going on. Too late. Note that she knew intimate details of the union position. I wonder why? Let's see---no strike clause for 10 years. 1% salary increase per year. Cost of medical/dental benefits shift to union members and NOT Boeing. Retirement package--like all in industry--401K with 50% match.
