EVERETT — A body was discovered in the Snohomish River south of the U.S. 2 trestle on Saturday, according to Everett police.
Authorities found the body, half-submerged, near the Riverfront development, said Officer Aaron Snell, a spokesman for Everett police.
A passing boater reported seeing the body at about 11:30 a.m., Snell said.
It was discovered near the shoreline just east of The Towns at Riverfront.
Police are investigating the death.
No further details were available as of 2 p.m. on Saturday.
