A new strain of norovirus, which causes diarrhea and vomiting, has been identified in the United States.

Cornell University scientists think they have discovered the molecular switch that allows aggressive triple negative breast cancer cells to grow amoeba-like protrusions and crawl away from a tumor and spread throughout the body.Triple negative breast cancer is one of the most deadly types of breast cancer.The findings, published in Cancer Cell, suggest a new approach could be developed to treat the cancer once it has spread.
