SEATTLE — Washington has hired Aaron Roderick from Utah to be its new wide receivers coach.
A school spokesman said Saturday night that new Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian had completed his staff by hiring his former teammate at BYU.
Roderick spent four seasons as the wide receivers coach for Utes and was set for a promotion to co-offensive coordinator with them. Sarkisian apparently changed Roderick’s mind.
Roderick is a 1998 graduate of BYU. He was the offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator at Southern Utah in 2003 and ‘04 before moving to Utah in 2005.
