This week’s featured new home is technically an air space townhome located at the Village on Ash development in downtown Marysville.

The unit has three bedrooms and two- and one-half bathrooms, with more than 1,592 square feet of living space. Vitals include city water and sewer, and high-tech Category V cabling. Ground level is comprised of a two-car garage enclosed by a double door with privacy glass.

A separate, covered side entrance opens to a small entry area with closet space and laundry room. The entire area is covered with sealed exposed-aggregate concrete.

An L-shaped staircase ascends to the second level – where all the action will occur. The floor includes a center-island kitchen with adjacent informal dining nook, a great-room and a powder room.Another staircase climbs to the third level, the townhome’s sleeping quarters. This level is completed by a bedroom suite with walk-in wardrobe closet and full bath, and two additional bedrooms served by a second full bath.

Kitchen highlights include a ceramic-topped center island with short breakfast bar, laminated faux hardwood flooring, birch paneled cabinets with crown molding, walk-in pantry closet with ventilated wire storage shelves, recessed lighting and a stainless steel appliance package including a smooth-top electric range.

Nearby, a generous space that could be dressed up to a dining room, or down to a nook, is brightened by a drop-down pendant light fixture and oversized window. The great-room provides a functional, versatile living space that could be utilized in a number of ways. The room benefits from two windows, plush carpeting, radius corners and a nine-foot ceiling.

The third level is highlighted by the bedroom suite.

Its spacious sleeping area includes a moonglobe light fixture and phone/cable jacks, and is augmented by a walk-in closet with multi-tiered wire storage shelves on three walls. Amenities of the suite’s bathroom include a single vanity topped with ceramic tile, matching tile floor, full mirror, four-bulb strip light and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

Completing the townhouse are two smaller bedrooms and another full bathroom.

Six-panel sliding doors enclose standard closets in both bedrooms.

The bathroom is completed in similar fashion to the suite, with ceramic tile topping a single vanity and backsplash, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
