MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – Police are searching for two men who broke into a home Friday night and held two people at gunpoint.
No one was injured in the home invasion robbery. The victims reported that the suspects stole prescription pain medication, a large flat screen television and a purse, Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Doug Hansen said.
A man and his girlfriend first heard a knock at the door around 10:40 p.m. The man heard someone ask for “Josh.” He yelled back through the closed door that no one by that name lived there. The suspects then kicked in the door.
One man held a large revolver and a second suspect was armed with knife, Hansen said.
The suspects demanded that the man turn over his prescription pain medication. They threatened to kill the victims if they didn’t comply, Hansen said. The man handed over the medication and then the suspects ransacked the house.
They drove off in a large sport utility vehicle.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 425-670-8260.
