Boehner: He cries because he cares

WASHINGTON — Asking House Speaker John Boehner why he cries so much is one thing. If you want to turn his tears to mild annoyance, bring up his smoking.

Boehner tells “Fox News Sunday” that he’s not going to apologize for getting emotional about things he believes are important.

Boehner is also a heavy smoker. When asked why he doesn’t quit, he responded sharply that, yes, it’s a bad habit, but that he chooses to smoke.

As far as being asked again and again about his smoking, Boehner says with a smile, “Leave me alone.”
