EVERETT – A 20-year-old Lake Stevens man died in a head-on collision Tuesday morning on Highway 530 near Arlington.
Shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday, Washington State Patrol responded to a head-on collision on Highway 530 near 251st Place NE in Arlington.
Troopers say a black Ford Ranger was traveling east on Highway 530 near the intersection of 251st Place NE. The driver of a white Ford 550 was headed west on 530 when troopers say the Ford Ranger crossed the centerline and struck the other vehicle head on.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, Ashten D. Keller, 20, Lake Stevens, was declared deceased at the scene.
Both directions of Highway 530 were closed for several hours early Tuesday while the Washington State Patrol investigated the collision.
The cause of the collison is under investigation.
